Q: What is the best way to start fencing? A: You can take private lessons and practice in group settings. Q: Should my child stop taking private lessons if he/she reached a ceartain level? A: No, because private lessons are part of our education. Even Olympic champions still take individual lessons. Group lessons and bouting can't replace the technical and tactical refinement possible from a trained and experienced coach in a private lesson.
Private lessons are essential for intermediate and advanced fencers to improve their skills, giving the coach the opportunity to focus on the student's specific strengths and weaknesses. For competitive fencers, the private lesson is an essential component of their training regimen.
To book lessons: Individual (private lessons)
