Canadian Fencing Federation Instructional Program is a series of levels designed to assess skills and give parents and athletes feedback through a formal assessment. There are six levels: identified by colour, yellow, orange, green, red, blue, black.
Fencers typically are ready for the yellow level after 6 months of practice. This timeline is accelerated for athletes taking individual lessons and who are training more often. Mini-camps have an assessment component for those interested in challenging the assessment. Documentation on the CFF instructional program can be mailed on request. |
