Summer Schedule
- Developing the Fencing athlete.
Volume of training is based according to expected level of competition. It is recommended that new fencers come at least twice a week in classes at their own age group. Age group classes concentrate on general fitness, coordination, learning essential elements of the fencing bout and technical practice. All training can be supplemented with individual lessons and is essential for competitive athletes.
Training Group
A training group focusing on technique, tactical skills, physical training. For fencers with some experience.
Fencing on scoring machines. Timed bouts, and task based training in bout situations. |
Bouting training
Free fencing. Fencing on scoring apparatus.
A lower cost option for those who want to just fence. Individual lessons are offered during most bouting times. |
